3 Changes for Weight Loss

This is incredibly profound with regards to losing weight because so many of us focus only on the scale. Anyone who has ever tried to lose weight knows exactly how frustrating this can be! One day down three pounds the next up two.
Instead of focusing on results (the scale) here are three things you can change that will get you the results you’re looking for.
Mindset – instead of thinking that you have to “diet” which means denying yourself, create the mindset that you are choosing to eat health and you don’t eat unhealthy foods. Act and think like the you that you see as your future self. Start your journey with the mindset of the person you know you can become.
Habits – meal prep is one of the best ways to set yourself up for success. If you have healthy foods available, you’ll eat them and find it much easier to pass on the not so healthy fast foods. Get in the habit of shopping weekly and avoid buying unhealthy foods. Stock your shelves with healthy foods to avoid temptation. If you have junk in your cupboards, odds are you’re going to eat it.
Support – having a fitness partner is a great way to help stay accountable with your changes. Trying to do it on your own can be difficult and many things can prevent you from staying on track. A partner on the other hand can help especially on days when you feel like giving up.
