I Ain't No Turkey Workout


It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week! Before you know it, the hustle and bustle of the holidays will be in full swing, leaving us less time for the gym and more time to put on some extra pounds. Most people gain an average of 5lbs during the holidays and if you are already carrying around a few extra pounds, it makes it that much more difficult to get rid of.


So don't be a "turkey" this Thanksgiving. Here's how you can stay in awesome shape through the holiday season - it only takes 30 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week to make a dramatic difference.


The "I Ain't No Turkey" Workout

Perform these eight exercises in the following order, resting only 20 to 30 seconds between each. Rest 2-3 minutes between rounds. Try to repeat as many times as possible for 25-30 minutes.


1) Jumping Jacks or Jump Rope.......................................................30 Seconds

2) Stability Ball Push-Ups..................................................................10-15x

3) Squats (standing on band, holding the handles for resistance)...................15x

4) Band Rows.....................................................................................10-15x

5) Mountain Climbers.........................................................................30 Seconds

(Push-up position then alternately drive knees towards chest like you are running)

6) Standing Band Rotations................................................................15x each side

7) Dumbbell Curl to Shoulder Press...................................................12x

8) Plank w/ Alternating Arm/Leg Raise...............................................10x each side
