Motivate Fitness July Membership Special

In a competitive industry there are so many types of fitness programs you can choose from. These types of programs are one size fits all and we know that’s not the way fitness is done. I liken it to baking a cake, too much of one thing and not enough of the other will surely ruin the taste and consistency. The problem with this type of programming is that it can lead to overuse injuries and muscle imbalance which increase the chance of injury.


Sure, these programs may look cool and sexy but you need to ask yourself what is the purpose of the program? Is this the correct program for my body and fitness level? Does it address my previous injury and health history? What is the screening method used to determine what I should and shouldn’t do to avoid injuries? Will someone be watching my form to make sure I am performing the exercises properly? Will it help me move pain free or move better? All questions that you should consider and ask before you start a program.
